Administrative officer - Full-time

Duties

•    Manage the rental buildings/units in Warman and Martensville
•    Visit clients’ companies and collect their questions and inquiries 
•    Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
•    Maintain and update company databases
•    Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
•    Answer queries by employees and clients
•    Update office policies as needed
•    Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
•    Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
•    Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
•    Arrange travel and accommodations
•    Schedule in-house and external events
Requirements
•    Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
•    Solid knowledge of office procedures
•    Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
•    Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Attention to detail
•    High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
•    English and Chinese are required

Bookkeeper - Full-time

Responsibilities
•    Meet our company and clients’ companies’ bookkeeping needs
•    Went to clients’ companies to collect financial documents and scan all documents
•    Satisfy clients’ financial needs and explain the financial part of business plan to them
•    Coordinate with business planner to improve clients’ business plans
•    Coordinate with accountant to complete financial statements
•    Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
•    Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
•    Bring the books to the trial balance stage
•    Perform partial checks of the posting process
•    Complete tax forms
•    Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
•    Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Requirements
•    Proven bookkeeping experience
•    Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
•    Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
•    Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
•    Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
•    Proficiency in English and in MS Office
•    Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
•    High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
•    BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
•    English and Chinese are required
